This policy explains how information is handled through the Nehemiah's Children sponsorship website. Global Gospel Initiatives administers sponsorship gifts, receipts, and payment support. Nehemiah's Children carries out the ministry in Haiti.

Information we collect

When you make a gift, our payment provider collects the information needed to process it, which may include your name, email address, billing address, and payment details. We receive donation and sponsorship records, such as the amount, payment status, transaction identifiers, and the sponsorship associated with your gift. If you contact us, we receive the contact information and message you provide.

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times to deliver and protect the website.

How we use information

We use information to process and administer gifts, maintain sponsorship records, issue receipts, respond to questions, and communicate about your sponsorship. We also use it to prevent fraud, resolve payment problems, maintain the website, and meet accounting and legal obligations.

Payments through Stripe

When you pay through Stripe, payment details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout. Our sponsorship website does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. When information is shared

Information may be shared with authorized staff of Global Gospel Initiatives and Nehemiah's Children as needed to administer gifts and sponsorships. We also use service providers for payment processing, website hosting, security, and communications. Information may be disclosed when required by law or when needed to address fraud, protect people's safety, or defend legal rights.

We do not sell or rent donor personal information.

Cookies and website services

The sponsorship website does not currently use advertising trackers. Our hosting, security, and payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies to operate their services. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect payment or account features.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to administer sponsorships, maintain donation and accounting records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to people who need it for their work. No internet service or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Your choices and requests

You can contact us to request access to or correction of your information, ask about deletion, or stop optional communications. Some records must be retained for accounting, legal, or payment purposes. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Privacy rights vary depending on where you live.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adult donors and supporters. It does not invite children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us. Questions or requests about a child's photo or profile should be sent to Nehemiah's Children at info@nehemiahschildren.org.
